R&D Team Lead

As the R&D Team Lead at Visitt, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product and engineering culture. You'll lead a team of talented engineers, guiding them to deliver innovative solutions that redefine how our users manage their building operations. Beyond technical expertise, you'll foster collaboration across departments, optimize our systems, and ensure the team operates efficiently to achieve ambitious goals. • Streamline processes: Set up efficient workflows for the engineering team, and support company wide efforts like SOC 2 compliance.
• Lead and mentor: Manage a team of engineers, helping them grow and deliver high-quality products, and support them to own end-to-end development lifecycle.
• Drive development: Own the delivery of key projects, integrations, and technical initiatives aligned with Visitt’s roadmap.
• Collaborate across teams: Work closely with founders, product, design, customer experience and sales teams to ship features that improve Visitt’s users day to day operations.
• Optimize infrastructure: Improve system performance, scalability, reliability and improve CI/CD pipelines using best practices for AWS/Kubernete

• React, utilizing hooks and context for the composability of functionality.
• Design system with React component library, Ariakit, Radix, Tailwind CCS.
• Expo native apps combined with webview.
• GraphQL Stack, Apollo Client and Apollo Server for all Visitt apps.
• Public GraphQL API that grants access to partners.
• Node, MongoDB, and Redis in the backend.
• Hosted on AWS with Kubernetes.
• GitHub and Github Actions for CI/CD.
• Slack, Linear, Sentry.
• Monorepo, Turbopack with Vite and esbuild. Cypress, Vite test.
